Kiev is the city where the modern and the old make excellent opportunities for historical and aesthetical exploration. However, before you become a visitor to this incredible city, take your time to decide on at least 2 things: accommodation and transport.

Let us consider selecting a flat. Depending on what you can afford and personal preference, you can either choose to rent a room in a Kiev hotel, or rent an apartment. Count the stars on Kiev hotels to estimate the comfort you require and the price you can afford.

Kiev has a number of high-class hotels. There are literary dozens of less chic Kiev accommodation facilities. A five star hotel is going to cost you around $400-850 per night, 4 stars will cost $150-$500, 3 star hotels will be about $70-300, two stars will cost from $50 to 120 and small and one star hotels cost around 25-100 per 24 hours.

There exist as well several hostels in the city for students and young people. In an ordinary hostel you can find unpretentious but clean accommodation facilities and several sofas or beds in one and the same room.
